Coconut Counting Printable Activity for Summer
Kids will have fun practicing counting to 20 with these free printable coconut counting project. Preschool, pre-k, and kindergarten age children will count coconuts and trace the numerals with this fun number activity for preschoolers. Coconut Counting
These cool number mats are a fun summer number activity for preschoolers and kindergartners. In this coconut counting, kids will practice or review counting to 20 and write numbers to 20 as well. Use this counting coconuts as an island, ocean or summer theme or math center. This summer math project is a great way to keep skills fresh or learn new ones to avoid the summer learning loss. We like to use these with a summer activities for preschoolers or a Chicka Chicka Boom Boom themed week.

Coconut Numbers
These mats are easy to prepare, just download, print, cut in half and laminate or place in a page protector and you are ready to play with these Coconut Counting Mats. They are so much fun for little ones to practice learning to count to twenty as well as learning to write the numbers. They can use playdough to recreate the numbers as well as coconuts to place under the tree. There are also coconut counters supplied in the printable pack that can be printed out and laminated for durability.
Children will have a great time learning to count to twenty while working on their hand and finger muscles by rolling the dough.
Summer Math
Each of these Counting Mats contain a picture of a palm tree with a coconut holding a sign. On the sign in the number which they will be working on. As they count to this number, children can place one of the included coconut counters, or their own play dough coconuts or other counters under the palm tree.
Summer Activities for Preschoolers
The other activity on these mats is writing practice. The number is written six times on the top of the right hand side of the page. As they trace this dotted number, children can review their number recognition skills, as well as connecting the number they are tracing to the number word in the frame the coconut is holding.
These mats will provide hours of fun in most settings, even as an independent activity as part of a Math center.
