Simple Hyacinth Flower Craft for Kids
After a long, dreary winter nothing says spring like pretty blooming flower bulbs! One of my favorite spring flowers are hyacinth because they are not only pretty, but they smell amazing too! This pretty hyacinth craft is not only a beautiful flower craft, but it is SUPER easy too! This flower craft for preschool, toddler, pre-k, and kindergarten uses a couple common materials and gift bows! This lovely spring craft for preschoolers is bound to be one of your new favorite flower activities.
Hyacinth Craft
Celebrate the arrival of spring by making a pretty hyacinth flower craft. This spring craft for kids couldn’t be easier, making it perfect for little hands like toddlers, preschooelrs, and kindergartners. Whether you are a parent, teacher, or homeschooler – you will love that that this flower craft is not only simple-to-make, but turns out great every time. You can make any color flower craft for preschoolers you like from typical pink and blue hyacinth to more exotic colors like yellow, red, salmon, white, and more.
Flower Craft
Start out by grabbing a couple materials and you will be ready to start creating a pretty flower craft for children in no time.
- white paper for background
- green construction paper to make stem, leaves, and grass
- 3 self stick gift bows (all the same color)
- markers to make details
- scissors
- glue
Flower craft for preschool
Start by cutting a long narrow strip of green construction paper (for the stem) and glue it in the middle horizontally, but towards the paper bottom.
Spring flowers crafts
Peel the sticker off the back of one of the package bows and stick it almost at the top of the page in the middle horizontally. Repeat with the 2nd and third bow putting each subsequent bow lower than the last, but so they are tight together.
Flower art and craft
Cut 3 long leaves out of green paper and tape in the front of the stem. Pld down the front of one leaf to look more natural.
Flower project
Cut the green construction paper to make a mound looking grass cut out for the bottom of your page covering the bottom leaf edge. Glue across the lower edge only.

Carefully use your scissors to cut slits in the mound to make it look like individual blades of grass.
