Planet Earth Day Suncatcher Craft for Preschoolers
Create a cheerful earth day suncatcher with this fun, simple earth day craft for preschoolers! The simple technique of this planet earth crafts for preschool has so many variations for children to create.
Suncatcher craft
All you need to complete this super cute and simple earth day craft are a few supplies you probabaly already have on hand:
- self seal laminator pouch
- sharpie to draw circle,
- green and blue tissue paper
Tear or cut the green and blue tissue paper into small pieces.
Earth Suncatcher
We like to open the self-seal laminator pouch over a free printable earth template to use it as a guide. You don’t want to put it in the pouch though as it will impact the amount of light that can shine through your pretty suncatcher craft.
Now Use yoru sharpie to trace the earth circle and planet shapes if you like. Start putting the green pieces of tissue paper over the continents.

Now lay the blue tissue paper over the remaining spaces to show where the oceans are. Did you know over 70% of the Earth is covered in water?
HINT: Use different shades of green and blue to give extra dimmention, interest, and color to our easy earth day craft.

Close the self sealing lamintor pouch and press down to seal around the edges especially.
